ICEHOUSE LLAMAS
Herdsires
        HOME

Announcing my official new herdsires:
Argentine Sugabo (ET)
Argentine Gringo x Argentine Calliope
DOB:  7-31-2009

Sugabo (pronounced Shug'a Beau) is as handsome as he is smart.  I first worked with Sug the end of August 2010.  By the end of June 2011 Sug was ALSA novice performance champion and had moved up to advanced performance.
I am betting this gentle giant will put fiber and size on anything.  I am concentrating on breeding full Argentines since I love everything about them.

Sug is continuing his education in advanced performance.  He placed in all three performance classes at GN 2011.   He even brought home a date from Nebraska.   He is slow at figuring out the breeding game.  He is just too sweet.
He wishes girls didn't have play so hard to get when you know they're just
going to lay down eventually anyway....

Argentine Miel
Argentine Saltarin x Argentine Pistola
DOB:  09-02-2006

When Miel arrived home, his neck ruff and head wool was full of burrs.
He kindly let me cut off his neck ruff.  We slowly
(and without a chute), brushed out his forelock.
A LOT of wool came off his head - but look at how much
he still has!! Next up is brushing out his legs....

Below is Miel in Wisconsin-

Miel aka Bullet is new here at Icehouse.  We'll start his training once he settles in.  I'll even breed him to one of the Argentine girls in December.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll participate in performance in his down time from breeding.  If nothing else, I'll get him in the halter ring.
His fiber is surprisingly fine and unsurprisingly dense.  He'll provide tons of wonderful fiber for me to spin.
His new best friend is little Ike.  Ike loves to wrestle with
his beefy friend.  Miel is a gentleman to his little friend as its
apparent he could easily squish Ike.

Chocolate was my main man.  I love his kids.  There are none better for performance.
CHOCOLATE CARAMEL EXPLOSION
Peruvian Patron B1078 x Peruvian Aborna R81
 DOB:  1-13-1995 to 7-25-2011

Chocolate is the sire of performance champions Little D, Mr Neon and Icehouse Archangel.  December 2011 will mark the arrival of his very last kid.  All the kids are impressive, in and out of the show ring.
Mike won Champion NonBreeder at GN 2011!!
When I first bought Chocolate I wasn't sure what to expect of his temperment since I had not ever seen him in person.  I tracked him down when I realized he was Little D's sire.  From the moment he arrived here he was always a gentleman and a professional.  He took his females and his breedings very seriously.  His contribution to bettering his species is not slight.  Chocolate kids are awesome in performance and halter.
Chocolate was pure Peruvian and 100% the best!

Here are his recent kids.

This is the llama responsible for my falling in love with CCE
Mister Neon
You'll meet Penelo-P soon.

Icehouse Hatshepsut
A lovely daughter who unfortunately had to be bottled for a short time.  I hear she has grown into a beautiful young lady - even if a tad bit too friendly.

Icehouse Boudicca
Another daughter, also bottled for a short time.  Bodie has a brilliant mind for performance, but lacks the patience to stand still for any amount of time.
CCE in his prime- I sure miss him.
